Company History

Certified was founded in 1991 by Scott Johnson as SOS Parts, Ltd. Soon after starting the company, Scott discovered the value of developing relationships based on providing a consistently high level of service to a specific customer base.

In 1995 SOS adopted the trade name Certified Parts Warehouse to reflect its commitment to providing high quality tested spares and assemblies in the IBM Point of Sale, IBM PC and Lexmark Printer marketplace.

Over the years Scott has built the infrastructure and delivery systems to what the company is today.
